Finding a job without strong Finnish is possible, especially in international companies, tech and some service jobs.
- Start with Work in Finland's open jobs. Jobs that need English but not Finnish or Swedish are collected there automatically.
- Filter LinkedIn by language. Search in English, and look at companies whose job ads are in English, which is usually a sign that English is the working language.
- Look at international employers. Larger international companies in Finland, such as Wolt, Supercell, Nokia and KONE, use English widely in many roles. Always check the language requirement in each ad.
- Read the requirements, not just the ad's language. Some ads are in English but still ask for Finnish, and some Finnish ads only need English.
